I am a mom of five daughters ranging from nine to one and I am in desparate need this year. At the beginning of the year we had a fire and that set us back tremendously. After that I began suffering from debilitating rheumatoid arthritis that has made caring for myself and my babies nearly impossible. My oldest has taken on too many responsibilities for her age. And I've gone through some major depression about it. I have battled with the idea of giving them up for adoption because all the things they lack and I can't provide. But I can't. It gets really humiliating when the water bill isn't paid and they ask whats wrong with the wate, though. But even worst I had them out of school a few days because I refused to let them go to school stinking from no baths. All of this is because of the things I can't give to them. I have relied on selling art and online sales to try to pay bills and provide food but recently I had to swallow my pride and ask the state for help. My children are past due on immunizations, and I medicate them when they are sick with whatever I can find around the house.Because of lack of medical insurance. I am asking that someone please open your heart to my little ones and send something that will make them smile this year. I have nothing to give them this holiday. I am not asking for money. If you gave money I'd just pay a bill with it, I am asking for a teddy bear, a toy horse, a baby doll, some shoes or just anything  good to show them that happiness happens too and that they are worth more than empty dreams and wishes; that their hopes can be realized and dreams and wishes can come to be.
